Everybody loves a good sale, including me. When I got off of work today, I wandered into the Rite Aid down the street from my house and caught some single eyeshadows from Black Radiance on clearance for $0.99! They were regular $3.99. Also, I bought a eyeshadow quad that was regular $4.99, on clearance for $1.24! What a steal. I already bought a single awhile back (in "Pink Parfait"), and I loved it! I wasn't sure about the formula of the quad, so that's why I only bought one. I should have bought them all.

And here are the swatches! I applied these over Too Faced Shadow Insurance (original).
Clockwise, from top left: Blue Icing, Silver Frosting, Rum Spice, and Mint Julep.
In my opinion, these run a bit sheer even with primer. However, I think they can be used as a highlight on the brow bone, in the inner corners of the eye, etc. I really like them. Most of the shadows I have come full-force with pigmentation, so it will be fun to work with something a bit sheer I think. Mint Julep was my favorite because it reminded me of an antique gold.
The "Deep Tapestry" eyeshadow quad, though, is a totally different story! Here is the packaging:
And here are the swatches!
I love it, especially the third swatched color (which is the shade on the top right of the quad). It was the butteriest and smoothest of them all, but all of these colors are beautiful!
How do you like these shadows? Can you see yourself creating looks with these?
